There was still one last design left to do – main outside panels. I wanted to make them look simple, but interesting.

I always loved hex shapes so this build also was getting some hex-love:) I decided that the main colors of the Nano Tower were going to be black and yellow. The front panel was indeed unique – a hex shape structure on the top part and an additional hex-edge panel below, with long lines cut out and a Nano Tower sign at the bottom. All were going to be lit up with yellow LEDs.

I cut out aluminium panels for the power chamber and L shape support bits, drilled them all to make holes for screws, and installed it to the rods.

After work on power chamber, I spent some more time on designing the top panel. Design was simple, based on hexagonal shapes. I feft some holes for the power switch and USB sockets. The second smaller bit was a cover for DVD hole.
